College and University Libraries Division
About the Division
The College and University Libraries Division encourages the development and growth of all aspects of college and university libraries and librarians through activities sponsored by AzLA. Arizona is home to about seventy academic libraries of all sizes, serving a wide array of disciplines and populations. The people who work in these libraries are experienced and creative, providing a potential source of knowledge and collegial support.
The College and University Libraries Division is a recognized chapter of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL)
While CULD is the formal group representing Arizona's academic libraries to official library organizations such as AzLA and ACRL, we are also well aware that much truly valuable learning takes place when needs arise, and useful assistance may come from unexpected places. We have a couple of ways to promote and facilitate communication and we encourage you to share your questions and concerns, as well as your opinions and experience. Please engage in our shared mission and help to build and support our community.
The CULD listserv is an unmoderated email subscription service that allows you to send and receive messages from all other members/subscribers. This is a great way to ask questions, share information, and have a discussion directly with other members.
Instructions for the CULD listserv:
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with subscribe CULD Firstname Lastname in the body of the message (no subject is needed).
- Example: subscribe CULD John Doe
Send an email to email@example.com with unsubscribe CULD Firstname Lastname in the body of the message (no subject is needed).
- Example: unsubscribe CULD John Doe
Here's our blog, a web location where we can share information with the world:
What's your library up to? Have news to share?
Because we want to keep this SPAM-free and professional, you'll need to contact one of the CULD officers listed on this page to submit content.
The Resource Round-up is a biweekly posting from Dan Stanton highlighting items of interest to Arizona’s academic library community. Resources include library blogs, newsletters, conferences and webinars. Interested in professional development opportunities, or news and trends happening in the library world? Take a look!
