Attending AzLA is great way to meet fellow library professionals, learn about recent innovations and ideas for libraries, and to be inspired by guest speakers and presenters. Being a volunteer at AzLA is another way to benefit from the fantastic opportunities that this meeting offers. Volunteers serve at the registration table, raffle table, or act as speaker liaisons to ensure speakers arrive on time to presentation locations and are introduced. All instructions needed for each of these tasks are provided to volunteers and take only a small window of time to complete. Many hands make light work, so recruit your friends to help out beside you.
And drum roll…the BONUS is that that if you volunteer 2 or more hours in a given day, then you can attend any programs that conference day for free (free registration minus lunch).
If you would like to be a volunteer, great! Please email Christine Dykgraaf. Include the dates and times you are available during the conference and she will get back to you.
