IIG Event - Library Management System Using RFID: Creating an Intelligent Library

The AzLA International Interest Group (IIG) sponsored a talk by Husien Wang, a visiting Librarian from China, at Arizona State University.

Introducing the basic knowledge about RFID and its application in modern libraries, using RFID to create intelligent libraries in the near future.

Mr. Wang received a Chinese government grant to come to the United States and study various library issues for this academic year. Mr. Wang is currently Manager of Patron Services Department Library of UESTC (University of the Electronic Science & Technology of China) in Chengdu, China. He is mainly responsible for planning, organizing, maintaining and managing the processes and operations of the Patron Services Department, including collection circulation, interlibrary loans, multimedia reading services, facilities maintenance, etc.
