Apply for a Scholarship to the YA Summit

Posted By Lauren Regenhardt, Sunday, October 9, 2016

January 26-28, 2017 is the YA Summit, where YA Librarians and High School Librarians can learn and share best practices, program ideas, STEM activities, and more. You will have the chance to meet YA authors Maggie Stiefvater, Matt de la Pena, and Tom Leveen!

To apply for a sponsorship award and for more information, visit the Summit webpage. Fifty applicants will receive free hotel and registration. Otherwise, the cost is $150 which includes food.

We also have fun activities planned on Friday after the workshops. Ready for a scavenger hunt? Join us in the Antiques District to search for clues! If you gather all the clues, your name will be entered in a chance to win a prize drawing. Your ticket to participate can be any item from the YA Summit CafePress store. Just wear or present the item to get in on the fun! This exciting excursion will take place following sessions. Afterwards, you can relax on Whiskey Row and hang out with some of the authors from the YA Summit.

To get the background story on the Young Adult Summit, read the article in the latest newsletter and believe that if you want to see something happen in Arizona, all it takes is one person!
