AzLA is pleased to announce that the Horner Fellowship Committee is now accepting applications for the 2017 Horner Fellowship exchange.
The Horner Fellowship was established in 1989 under the auspices of the Arizona Library Association through the generosity and foresight of the late Dr. Layton “Jack” Horner and his wife Marian. The mission of this unique fellowship is to foster cultural and informational exchanges between librarians from the State of Arizona and Japan.
The fellowship endowment provides a stipend to cover transportation and basic living expenses for a two- to three-week period. The Horner Fellowship Committee and former fellows provide assistance and advice in planning for each exchange in cooperation with members of Japan Library Association’s International Relations Committee.
Please fill out the application form and email or mail your application packet to Smita Joshipura. The application deadline is March 31, 2017. Applicants will be notified in first week of May, 2017.
