Getting Started

 

  • What if I forgot my username and password?

     Click the hyperlink “Forgot Your User Name and Password” located below the Register for Conference hyperlink.  An email will be sent to you.

 

  • If registering as a non-member do I need a username and password?

           Yes, however this will be a temporary username and password created by you for conference registration only.

 

  • Can I join AzLA now to register at member rates?

           Yes, and by joining now you will save $35 on full conference registration.

 

  • Why do I have to select a division or interest group?

    As you are filling in your contact information at the very beginning of the online registration process, you will be asked to select a division or interest group to which you belong. This information is helpful to AzLA in determining the best programming and the most applicable exhibitors to bring to the conference each year. We thank you for your cooperation in selecting a division or interest group.

 

 

Questions Regarding Payment

 

  • What are my payment options?

           AzLA accepts payment by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or check.

 

  • When is payment due?

      Payment is due at the time of registration. If paying by check or submitting a Purchase Order, a check must be received by December 1, 2009. If payment has not been received by the start of the conference, you will be required to pay at the door, including a $25.00 on site registration fee.

 

  • Where do I send my check?

           Please mail checks to: AzLA 1030 East Baseline Road Suite #105-1025 Tempe, AZ 85283

 

  • What do I do if I have a purchase order?

    If paying by P.O. please select “Pay by Check” on the online registration form. Mail your purchase order to the address listed above.  The actual check accompanying the P.O. must be received by December 1, 2009. If payment in full is not received at the AzLA office by December 1, you will have to pay by check or credit card at the conference, including the $25.00 on-stie registration fee. We recommend that you save a copy of your P.O. for your records.

 

  • Can AzLA send me an invoice for my registration?

     If you need an invoice you must print a copy during the online registration process. AzLA does not mail out invoices generated through the online registration system.

 

  • Will AzLA accept split payments?

     If your employer is paying for your conference registration but you wish to pay for other events separately, such as  preconference, lunches or reception,  AzLA will accept split payments when paying with checks. Please indicate on the invoice being submitted with the payments that this is a split payment .

 

 

  • What is the refund / cancellation policy?

All requests for refunds must be sent to the AzLA Executive Secretary, at admin@azla.org.

Up to 30 days before the conference, cash refunds will be honored minus a $25 administrative fee.  A paid registration can be transferred to another person who has not already registered at any time up until the start of the annual conference. 

Within 30 days of the conference, you can submit a written request for consideration of credit towards the following year’s conference minus a $25 administrative fee.  Submit requests to the AzLA Executive Secretary at admin@azla.org

Refunds will not be granted after the conference. 

Meals & Pre-Conference registrations can be refunded up to 30 days before the conference by submitting a request to the AzLA Executive Secretary at admin@azla.org. 

 

  

Questions Regarding Conference Registration

 

  • When is the deadline for online registration?

           Online registration ends Saturday, October 31st, 2009.

 

  • If I miss the deadline can I still attend the conference?

     Yes, on-site registration will be available throughout the conference. A $25 administration fee will apply to all on-site transactions for members and non-members.

 

  • Are any pre-conferences or luncheons included in full conference registration?

     Full conference registration includes programs only. Pre-conferences and luncheons are available for an additional charge. If you wish to register for a pre-conference or luncheon and do not wish to attend conference programs you may do so by selecting the “I am not attending but still wish to register for additional items below” option on the online registration form. This will allow you to register for these special events without registering for the conference.

 

  • How do I register more than one attendee?

The online conference registration module does not allow more than one individual to register at a time. If your library is sending more than one person, each person will need to register and pay separately.  We apologize for this inconvenience. 

 

 

  • How can I review what I have registered for?

      Click on Register for the Conference and login. Your itemized conference registration will be displayed

                        You can print the itemized receipt/registration form.         

 

  • How can I change what I have registered for?

           Email the AzLA office at admin@azla.org indicating the change you are requesting.

 

  • How can I print a copy of my invoice or receipt?

    There are two opportunities to print your invoice when you register. If you pay with a credit card a printable receipt will be generated. If you pay with a check a printable invoice will be generated. Please use the invoice for P.O. payment processing and mail a copy with your check. If you need an itemized receipt after you've registered, click on Register for the Conference and login. Your itemized conference registration will be displayed
