Playing on the popular novel and movie title of a similar name, this theme highlights the ways in which Arizona libraries and library staff contribute to the profession, community, and to the world through innovations in technology, programming, services and a myriad of other ways that enhance the world in which we live.

Conference Information

Location and Lodging

The official AzLA Conference Hotel is the Radisson Fort McDowell in Scottsdale. The special room rate for the conference is $119.00 (plus tax per room per night). At the time of booking, identify yourself as a member of the Arizona Library Association - Annual Conference, to get this special rate. You must book by October 15, 2010 to receive this special rate. This rate is valid November 15-18, 2010. To reserve your room, call the Resort directly at 480-789-5300, toll free to Radisson Worldwide Reservations at 1-800-333-3333, or online at www.radisson.com/ftmcdowellaz. 

Volunteer at the Conference

Planning on attending the 2010 AzLA Annual Conference?  Would you be willing to volunteer an hour (or more) at the AzLA registration desk or the AzLA Membership booth?

Volunteers are needed each day of the regular conference - Tuesday, November 16th and Wednesday, November 17th.  This is a great opportunity to create career connections and serve your professional organization.
