This year's conference theme is Making Connections. The library profession is all about making connections. Library professionals enrich their knowledge base and enhance services by networking with librarians from other institutions. Libraries create new opportunities by collaborating with organizations within their communities. There are the connections technology has enabled, with social media tools increasing options for programming and promotion alike! Finally, there are the daily connections made between staff and patrons, between instructional specialists and students, which form the basis of what library service is!
